It’s no surprise Facebook has become quite an annoying experience to use, especially when you consider how slow the image lightbox is. You know, the little popup that happens when you click on an image. It has to load the image and all the comments and likes along with it, this makes it quite slow.¬†

However there is a way you can combat this by using Facebook Photo Zoom created by Regis Gaughan. I must say, I don’t think I could ever live without this little plugin ever again.

It has made Facebook browsing a whole lot faster and fun to use. It does not try to compress images that it looses it’s quality and it even works with externally hosted images that are posted onto a Facebook status. What more could you ask for?

But how does it work? It’s ingenius and very simple to use. All you have to do is head over to download the Chrome plugin, once it’s installed head over to Facebook and just hover your mouse over an image, the image will popup in a much quicker fashion. (You don’t need to click on any images again)
